Postcard Response - Leads To Success
Here are some ideas that can help improve the response rate to your postcard campaign and reinforce your brand image.
♦ Use a well targeted mailing list which may include previous sales inquiries, existing customers(if you sell something consumable), and/or buy a well qualified list from a broker/source. ♦ Your postcard's message will have the greatest impact on response. Keep your message to the point. Promote an offer that has value to the target. Use an immediate call-to-action. ♦ A clean / appealing design will reinforce credibility, hence, trust. ♦ Bright colors will make your piece stand out. Avoid flimsy paper. ♦ Use a large postcard if you need space for details or if you want to include a large image, i.e. 6"x11" - qualifies for postal discounts. ♦ Foil stamping, although costly, can speak volumes about quality. ♦ Be a friend, not just a sales pitch. Give the recipient something they want, i.e. scratch-off ticket, coupon, contest, invitation or ticket, hotline number, website, calendar of events, call for free sample, etc. ♦ Track response with a code, unique domain, and/or toll-free number.
